Hello, my name is Jennifer Leslie Baker. I am 21 years old. I was born in Arizona, raised in Texas, then moved to Florida, North Carolina, back to Texas, Georgia and now I am currently residing in Denton, Texas…again haha. I am the middle child. I have 2 sisters who I love very much. I am half Mexican and I absolutely love being bicultural.
I fell in love with my Catholic faith when I first understood and personally encountered God in my 1st retreat in 2012. I have been in love ever since!
I have always valued kindness and respecting others, but getting to know Christ has raised my hunger for His word and serving others with my all and no limitations. Every day I am learning to embrace true happiness which is motivated by the beautiful Creed I confess as a Catholic.
God is constantly showing himself in my life day in and day out and I can only hope to live a life in which people notice God in me, day in and day out.

My name is Joandra Mendoza born in Guerrero, Mexico 25 years ago. Home is my cozy sweet house on Donley with my beyond amazing husband, Adrian Mendoza, and our baby Santiago. I am a sister of two brothers, Sergio Jr. and Daniel, and daughter of Sergio and Guillermina Ocampo.
I am Director of Faith Formation and Youth Minister at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. My first job out of college, WHAT! Yes, I’m blessed enough to proclaim God’s word as a full-time job! It is with great honor that I serve my home parish, where I met Love for the first time at age 15.
I love spending time with my husband, hanging out with my friends, and traveling mysterious, unknown places through books. Although God has blessed me abundantly, I continue to dream and continue setting goals for myself because of one phrase keeps repeating in my head it’s: “Be who you were meant to be and you will set the world on fire.” St. Therese of Lisieux. There is nothing I hunger more than fulfilling God’s plan for me.
My tiny steps towards holiness are continuously followed by setbacks of sin, yet every day is an opportunity to be caressed by the Father, and today I choose to do just that.

Hello! I’m Claudia Jahaira Navichoque born in Jalapa, Guatemala, the second child of three. I lived there until I was seven years old and now residing in good old Georgia, USA.
I’m a 25-year-old who finds joy in my only truth, Jesus. I believe in His infinite love for me and for all of us! I am passionate about life and radically in love with it. My family and friends have a great impact in my life. We are a little community, our own cheerleaders.
I’m a lover of fashion, art, creativity, design, nature, photography, coffee but above all, I love food and socializing. Sometimes I’m too “picky, it’s easier to say what I like than what I don’t and very disorderly: I have not yet found a remedy for this, although I hope that over the years it will change. Lastly, I love celebrating real and celebrating beauty.
My heart desires to see and understand more of my faith, therefore, a not even perfect world – just a different one where God has complete control and more importantly, I want to GIVE more to the world.

My name is Fabiola Navichoque, 24 years of age born in the “land of eternal spring” Guatemala, but raised in Georgia, USA. I’m a simple girl and one of my favorite things to do is to be joyful. I’m constantly looking for what is true, good, and beautiful in everything around me, especially music. I have an insatiable desire for authenticity in all areas of my life. I basically live off books, coffee, and conversations about Jesus, who has stolen my heart and never given it back! Though I am constantly trying to figure out who I am and where I fit in this world, I have a God who knows exactly what I am about – and I am grateful to spend my life asking Him to show it to me. I’m just striving for sainthood through lots of imperfect ways.

Hello! I’m Jenyfer Navichoque, 24-year-old, married mommy, born in California raised in Mexico and residing in Georgia.
I work in Community Relations for an Anthem division company.
Married to my youth group crush, Abner and we have two beautiful kids together, Max and Luna.
On my free time, I love organizing my mid-century atomic ranch house and buying lost treasures at thrift stores. For the past 8 years, I’ve been on a journey where my life has turned out to be what I never imagined. God has blessed me abundantly and for that reason, I’m here proclaiming His Goodness. Every day I learned to love the ugly of my past that continues in my future but with His grace, I can live my present in peace. Every day I’m inspired to be the best version of myself so that I can be a woman of God and raise fruitful children in the image of Him.
I will close with the following,
Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta said,
“A sacrifice to be real must hurt, must hurt, must empty ourselves.
The fruit of silence is prayer,
The fruit of prayer is faith,
The fruit of faith is love,
The fruit of love is service,
The fruit of service is peace.
