Loving, caring, hardworking, brilliant, determined, fun, humble are some words to describe Jenyfer D. Navichoque.
She goes by Jeny, 22, born in California with a Mexican back ground but currently in Georgia. Jeny loves many things in life but I believe that we should shorten the list just a bit. She loves being a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, and last but not least Catholic. With her ups and downs, crazy ideas, and dorky laugh she has always managed to be the best version of herself. There has been plenty of adventures, endless fun, and special moments but one in particular for Jeny has been to fall in love with one of the most beautiful love stories of all time, our Catholic church.
Let’s throwback a bit, 2009, she was sitting in a room full of adolescents of which some she knew and some she didn’t. This weekend was the start of something new and life changing for her which she didn’t really know at that time. Knowing that she had discovered that someone loved her so much for who she was and where she had came from was something HUGE for her. It all began there, her acceptance and commitment to a group of adolescents of whom were all hungry and wanted more and more of God the same way she did. Despite of the struggles, name callings, and being young of age nothing was going to separate her from the most real love she had ever experienced. Along the way she has shown her family and friends that with God she can be the best version of herself.
Now in the present 2016, she is someone who is still in love with her faith and embracing a level of motherhood that is not commonly found in a young mom, “If I can, you can do it too”, is a phrase I believe she can share with pride. Finally, Jeny is a committed Catholic who doesn’t see herself anywhere else but at the feet of her King, Christ.
