By finding God

“To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement.”
― Augustine of Hippo

I am not concerned with worldly pleasures, with things that are temporary.  I have learned that if you depend on people for your happiness, they’ll always disappoint you but if you depend on God, you’ll always be reassured, you’ll always be satisfied, and you’ll always wake up every morning thankful for life, grateful for everything in it, even your hardships.

People find happiness when they find God.

People understand life when they find God.

People truly start living when they find God.

Finding God can ease letting go of what you can’t control. It leads you to healing, finding yourself and discovering who you are meant to be.

And this is how you start enjoying life and this is how you stay calm, strong and patient in times of pain and distress.

Finding and choosing Him has been the best decision I have ever made. Trusting God to take control, knowing that He is writing my story and that He has better things planned for me. Trusting in Him blindly, because that’s how I see the light. That’s how I walk through life steadily no matter how bumpy the road may be because I know that He is looking out for me. I know I’m always being protected. I know that I am being loved by God and that’s enough.

And I don’t want to say that everything is awesome all the time and that I’ve never doubt my decision on choosing him because I would be lying.

But I can tell you that He has been more than enough. Because once I learned that God loved me personally and unconditionally, I became whole again. I become complete.

By finding Him, I have started my journey on discovering myself. Discovering how can I become a better person every day, how can I give my best always, how to believe in myself that I am sufficient for any role in my life.

Are you trying to find yourself?

If you are, I want to challenge you and go find who God is.
