The Thanksgiving holiday is here once again. While we are preparing dishes, running late errands and volunteering at our local soup kitchens, we should always remember the true meaning of Thanksgiving. It’s not a night to steal the best retail deals. It is one of my favorite time of year (first Christmas, duh) and not because of the food or because I get days off (second reason why), but because It gives me the opportunity to be surrounded by my loved ones; family and friends. At this time of the year lets always reflect the numerous things we are blessed with and always remember the real reason for Thanksgiving. I am fortunate enough to have amazing people in my life and many reasons to be truly thankful for. Thanksgiving is a time to give thought and thanks to the many things we are fortunate enough to have in our lives, such as a full dinner on the table, a roof over our head, and our jobs. Many are not as privileged and it is times such as these, to keep them in mind too and give back. Not because we are good people but because He who is good to us is.
My Family and health are my greatest gifts and I’m always grateful for waking up every day to evangelize His truth. I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and Happy holiday Season with your loved ones.
