School, work, church, exercise, sleep, blogging, going out with friends, family time, alone time, time, time, time.
Sometimes it feels like there is not enough time. We seem to always be running out of it.School can be stressful enough especially if you are taking microbiology like me haha. It is hard to manage time to “have enough time” for everything we want to do, but this is where prioritizing comes in.
It is important to remember what God tells us about time in Ecclesiastes 3, 3
“A time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to tear down, and a time to build.”
We shouldn’t worry about not having enough time because everything that is meant to be has its own time and place. Don’t worry about cramming and wanting to do everything all at once. There is a time for everything.
The most important thing to make time for, above all else is God. He deserves our time. We tend to forget that he has given us time. It is right and just to give and dedicate our time to him.
Make praying to God a priority. Take some of the precious time that you are given and dedicate a few minutes to him. It is the least you can do. Make it the first and last thing you do every day. Put Him first and everything else will follow. Time is given to us as a gift, therefore we should not waste it on things that do not matter.
I have a bad habit of always being on my phone and on social media when I know I have other things to do and when I have extra free time, and for those who are going through the same thing as me, I say we challenge ourselves to spend less time on social media and more time praying/talking to God. Read a bible verse and reflect on it, read the gospel of the day and reflect on that, talk about God to others.
Let’s love on God some more. Are you up for it?

In stress, anger, exhaustion, happiness, or turbulences; give yourself a few minutes to breathe and within those minutes pray… God loves the sound of your voice.
